Dogs in Training
KarmaThis is Karma born April 11, 2012 and she is a female yellow Labrador Retriever. Karma has been scent imprinted and went through the army super dog bio sensor program. We got Karma from a breeder in Lodi, CA who used our stud dog Henry. Karma has just come back from her fetch and hold training and is working on her public access and scent work. We look forward to watching Karma grow up and learn her new job.

Kato Meet Kato a littermate to RJ and was born in May of 2012. Kato means good judgement, and skilled caretaker and we hope that's exactly what Kato grows up to be. Kato is another Ripley son from Neverest Labs in Fox Lake, WI. Kato has just returned from fetch and hold training and is working on public access skills as well as house manners. Thank you to the Gillispie family for opening up your home to raise Kato into a wonderful DAD.

Lexi was born June 5, 2012 and is a female black Labrador. Lexi comes from Neverest Labradors in Fox Lake, WI. Lexi is assigned to Grace Juarez in northern California and will go home as a started dog sometime between March and June of 2013. Lexi is as sweet as they come and has always been extremely focused. Currently Lexi is in fetch and hold training and will be coming back the end of January to complete her started dog program! We are excited to see Grace and Lexi become a great team!!

Ranger was born June 15, 2012 and is a brindle male Labrador Retriever. Ranger comes to us from Neverest Labradors in Fox Lake, WI. Ranger is assigned to Joey Colosi in Florida and will be placed as a started dog in April or May of 2013. Ranger is a bright and willing boy.

Dane is Ranger's brother and is a male black Labrador Retriever. Dane has been raised in Madison, Wisconsin by the Edge family. They named him after Dane county so we would always remember where he started! Dane is a sensitive and sweet boy with good focus. He will be remaining here in California and will returning from the fetch and hold program the end of March. Dane will either be a started or finished dog we will decide as we see how he will progress!

Gingerbread was born July 17, 2012 and is a fox-red, British Labrador Retriever. Ginger is assigned to 3 year old Paget in New York. Paget has a rare Mitochondrial condition called Hyperinsulinism/Hyperammonemia. This condition causes Paget to go low often and in fact without life saving medicine she would not be able to stabilize her levels at all. We expect Gingerbread to complete training around February of 2014.Thank you to the Hernandez family for opening up your home for Gingerbread! We look forward to helping Paget lead a more independent and healthy childhood!

Darby is part of our first specially bred D.A.D. in-house litter born October 2, 2012. Darby is a male black Labrador Retriever. All puppies were scent imprinted from birth. There mom is D.A.D. Hero's sister and there father is D.A.D. Rosie's Mom. We are loving what we are seeing so far and these pups will all be slated for our finished dog program!

Able is part of our in-house, October 2012 scent imprinted litter. Able is a male black Labrador Retriever and is doing a great job. Stefanie Loraas is currently raising Able and doing an excellent job with his puppy basics. We look forward to watching him grow up and he is slated for our finished dog program!

Noah Is another litter-mate to our in-house imprinted litter from October 2012. Noah is a yellow, male Labrador Retriever. He is a humble mellow boy that just loves to be with people. He loves to learn and is a constant shadow with his people. We look forward to watching him grow up and are hopeful he will be a perfect match for one of our young kids waiting for there special D.A.D.

Apollo is another litter-mate to the in-house scent imprinted litter born October 2012. Apollo is a male yellow Labrador Retriever. He is a happy friendly, and very curious boy. Apollo loves to be with people and always seems to be right there. We have slated Apollo for the finished dog program and cant wait to watch him grow up!

Phoebe is another litter-mate to our in-house scent imprinted litter born in October of 2012. Phoebe is a female yellow Labrador Retriever. She is smart and very willing to please. She is currently being raised by the Doorn family! We thank them for opening up there home to help raise a wonderful D.A.D. to help a diabetic in the future. Phoebe is slated for our finished dog program.
Nikki
was born October 24, 2012 and comes to us from Merganser Labradors in Eugene, Oregon. Nikki is being raised by the Belair family and is doing a great job with her. Nikki is one of our potential breeding dogs that we may do one litter with then place as a finished DAD at 2 - 2 1/2 years of age. Nikki is doing well with her obedience and is a joy to have around.
Isis
was born December of 2012 and is from Devonshire Labradors in Oregon. Her Dad is Teddy the same as our Canine Hope litter and DAD Rosie. Isis is an imprinted pup and is very smart and has a great temperament. We hope to use Isis in our breeding program for one litter then place as a DAD. Isis will go home as a finished DAD between 2 - 2 1/2 years of age.
Glory
was born in January of 2013 and shares the same Dad as Lexi. Glory's Mom is the daughter of Lexi's Mom. We liked Lexi so much we decided we needed another just like her! Glory comes to us from Neverest Labradors in Fox Lake, WI. Glory is a happy fun pup that loves to learn. Glory was scent imprinted and loves to find scent samples! Glory is slated to go out as a finished DAD.
Ella
was born January 2013 and also shares the same Dad Teddy. Ella is being raised by Stefanie Loraas thank you! Ella is a sweet and sensitive girl that is acting a lot like her half sister DAD Rosie. Ella is fitting right in and doing well. We hope to use Ella in our breeding program for one litter and then place as a finished DAD at 2 - 2 1/2 years of age. Ella comes to us from Devonshire Labradors in Oregon.
Cane
was born January 2013 and is Ella's brother. Cane is a sweet and very balanced boy with a ton of personality! Cane is catching on to the daily routine and proving to have a great nose. Cane is slated to be in the finished dog program. Cane comes to us from Bayvue Labradors in California.

Molly
Molly was born August 1, 2011 she is a yellow Lab female. Molly is paired with Camden in Ventura,California and they have decided to be more involved in Molly's training so they are taking on the task of raising and training Molly with our guidance and support. Every third month Molly returns to us for additional training to assure she is on the right track. You can follow Molly and Camden's progress on Facebook at "Camden's Guardian Angel (Molly the Diabetic Alert Dog)". Molly and Camden are a great team and continue to excel together. We look forward to watching them become an excellent team. Molly will be returning for quarterly training in February!
Astro
Astro is a 1 year old yellow Lab also from Neverest Labs in Fox Lake, WI. Astro belongs to Luke in Yucaipa, California. Luke has also decided to take a more active roll in training Astro to alert him for lows and highs. Astro is proving to be a smart and very willing boy. We look forward to watching this team grow together and become an excellent diabetic alert team. Astro will be coming back to Canine Hope for his quarterly training in January!

Shiloh Shiloh was born in May 0f 2012. She is from Neverest Labs in Fox Lake, WI. Shiloh has her work cut out for her with two diabetics to watch over. So far Shiloh has proven to be bold, confident, and focused. We cannot wait to watch Shiloh grow up and for Samantha and Stephen to become great handlers.

Jedi was born October 2, 2012 and was part of a litter of 8. He was also Canine Hopes first in house litter specially bred and imprinted to become Diabetic Alert Dogs. Bella his mom is DAD Hero's sister and Teddy his dad is the father of our DAD Rosie. Jedi loves to learn and has the ability to be calm but yet loves to work. Jedi has been paired with 3 year old Luke in Glendale, CA. You can follow Luke and Jedi's journey on Facebook at Saving Luke - A Diabetic Alert Dog for Luke. Jedi will be returning for quarterly training in May! We are so excited to watch this team grow up together!
